Bariev Marat Mansurovich - born July 9, 1961 in Kazan. Graduated from Kazan Aviation Institute with a degree in mechanical engineering in 1984 and from Kazan State University with a degree in law in 2000.

Started his career after graduating from the Aviation Institute in 1984 at SUE "KAPO n.a. Gorbunov" where till 1986 he worked as designing engineer, then as deputy secretary of Komsomol Committee.

1986 - 1989 - Second Secretary of Leninsky District Committee of Lenin`s Youth Union of Kazan.

1989 - 1991 - First Secretary of Leninsky District Committee of Lenin`s Youth Union in Kazan. 1990 - 1991 - Secretary of Kazan Municipal Committee of Lenin`s Youth Union.

1991 - 1994 - Chairman of Youth Fund Board in Leninsky District of Kazan.

1994 - 2001 - Chairman of State Committee of Youth` and Children`s Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Since May 11, 2001 - Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan; April 29, 2005 - Minister of Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Awarded by the medal of the order "Of Merit to the Fatherland" of the 2 degree.
